Challenge

Delivering a high-density, new-build residential development on a narrow urban plot in Oldham, with limited outdoor space and overlooking sensitivities: ensuring strong market appeal and compliance with local planning policy.

Approach

We designed a five-storey apartment building from the ground up, replacing a demolished structure with a clean, modern residential block comprising 40 stylish apartments. The layouts were carefully developed to meet the demands of contemporary city living, with efficient internal planning and strong rental potential.

Solution

Our architectural solution introduced a rooftop garden in place of traditional open space, offering panoramic views of Manchester while enhancing resident amenity. The modern elevation, compact massing, and functional design meet both planning objectives and long-term market needs.
