Our Role
Lead architect providing full architectural design and planning services, from initial concept development through to submission and approval. We translated the client’s brief into a distinctive, buildable design rooted in American residential principles.
Challenge
Designing a unique detached home on Norman Street in Hyde that reflects the client’s preference for American-style residential architecture, while meeting UK planning and building regulations on a suburban infill site.
Approach
We developed a bespoke new build concept inspired by American residential design with generous proportions, a strong street presence, and clearly defined internal zoning for family living. The layout includes open-plan living areas, formal entrances, and architectural features that give the home its distinctive character.
Solution
The resulting home delivers spacious, high-quality accommodation with a style rarely seen in Greater Manchester. From concept to planning approval, we ensured the design responded to both client ambition and local context. This project showcases our ability to deliver custom new build homes that stand out while integrating seamlessly with their surroundings.
